Stone varieties

what stone to use?

The choice of stone is fundamental to the success of any stonemasonry project. Not only are there practical constraints on which type of stone may be most suitable for the project at hand but it is vital that the stone you choose blends with the property’s surroundings and any existing stonework that may be present.

At Conroy Stonework, we are happy to advise on the most suitable stone for your project and can assist in sourcing that stone whether it be local to you or from further afield. We specialize in stonemasonry projects in Wicklow, Dublin, Kildare and Galway.
